I started Nerds & Rockstars to share insights from twenty years of digital marketing for F&B and hospitality brands. For 15 years I ran The Interactive Dept., a digital marketing studio out of Portland, Oregon that worked with such great brands as Aviation Gin, Domaine de Canton, Mama's Fish House, Combier and more. In 2019, I joined José Andrés Group as Director of Digital Marketing, where I managed the digital strategy for over 30 restaurants and a celebrity chef. At the end of 2022, I stepped down from that role, and I'm currently looking for my next adventure.
Not one to sit idle, I decided to launch Nerds & Rockstars, a domain I purchased a decade ago at a conference after a presenter suggested the internet was created by “a bunch of nerds and rockstars.”
